I
decided to try to go into shareware business on Linux. Many people
are complaining that Linux is hostile ground for shareware authors
and it is possible so. I guess that Linux users are used to have
things for free, well at least I have. But it also gets us to the
point where some kind of “boring” software isn’t
available on Linux. By “boring” I mean in the sense that
such software is “boring” for developers to make, and
they would probably never do it for fun, but rather expecting some
money in return.
